The East Bay Beach District is known for its bustling atmosphere with no shortage of natural features for visitors to explore. Just east of Traverse City, the area strives to be a welcoming destination where locals and visitors alike can take advantage of the plentiful beachfront locales and nature trails of northern Michigan. With ambitions to revamp the district's brand image and engage with the community, East Bay Township put into motion the Beach District Community Visioning Process. This project would designate a $200,000+ budget to revitalize the township by showcasing and renovating various features and amenities unique to the area, creating a distinct sense of community localized within the district.
To spearhead the initiative, the township elected to install a series of light pole banners featuring the district's logo and various brand statements, a campaign that would serve to welcome visitors to the area and encourage foot traffic between destinations. All along the U.S. 31 corridor, the plan was to dress up the utility poles with the BannerSaver™ pole banner system, but the Michigan Department of Transportation had strict safety regulations in place. Over such a busy road, the banner system must be safe, secure, and durable enough to last.

Through our streamlined process, East Bay Township was ensured a speedy delivery of our banner brackets, along with an equal amount of our in-house printed pole banners. Once they were designed and printed, our installation team arrived on-site to install each banner bracket system in a quick and efficient manner. The result was a fresh new look for the district, as well as a symbol of the ongoing renovation and rebranding dedicated to beautifying the area.
